User Specification for a Reconfigurable Silver Command Test-Bed for Experimental Studies into Network Enabled Capability
Abstract
This document details the requirements for the Silver Command function that will be added into the existing C4i test bed at Brunel University.
The addition of an intermediate level of command (silver command) will allow much deeper investigations into command structures and the effect they have on task performance.
This system specification was designed with the assistance and input of army personnel and following direct observation of army command activities at the Land Warfare Centre in Warminster. Additional information has been elicited from civilian command and control as well as observation.
