Ian Whitworth

Ian started with a 1st Class degree in Mechanical Sciences from Cambridge, and has a broad knowledge of the Systems field, and is now a C.Eng, and a Member of both IEE and IEEE. For several years he was part of the Shrivenham team that went to the US to run a course for the US Army on Military Vehicle Systems. Currently head of the Computing and Information Systems Engineering Group, his research interests span a full range of computing network topics, as well as Image Processing.
