Ms Linda Johnstone Sorensen
Ms Linda Johnstone Sorensen is a former consultant with human factors and organisational analysis experience
within a security environment. She combines Organisational and Security Psychology using a Human Factors perspective
to evaluate socio-technical systems. Before joining Professor Neville Stantons team Linda combined Technical
Consultancy with Human Factors Research at the National Physical Laboratory. Linda completed a BSc in Psychology
at the University of Oslo before undertaking a research oriented MSc at the London School of Economics in Organisational
and Social Psychology with a particular focus on decision making and decision support systems. Linda is currently
undertaking a PhD in complex decision making and situational awareness in command and control. Linda was engaged
by the University of Southampton to contribute to projects within the Human Factors Integration Defence Technology Centre.
