Subsafe Video Clip

Navigating through selected compartments of a virtual Trafalgar Class submarine and interacting with items of submarine safety equipment. SubSafe is a human-centred investigation into the potential spatial awareness training improvements offered by interactive 3D environments and games-based technologies.

Subrescue Video Clip

An early proof-of-concept demonstrator allowing trainee rescue submersible pilots to experience the rendezvous and docking procedure for a disabled submarine (DISSUB). This interactive 3D system is being developed to assess the potential of games-based technologies to present trainees with varying levels of mission difficulty, such as the resting angle of the DISSUB, current strength, water turbidity, etc.
