Hierarchical Task Analysis

A tool that would enable the production of standardised Hierarchical Task Analyses (HTAs), which can be compared across services where the distribution of equipment renders this desirable. This should have an effect on both economies of scale and improving the final quality of training.

The production of a tool that is capable of integration with other similar tools to deliver a meta-tool set, with beneficial effects on both training and equipment functionality.

Cognitive Task Analysis

A tool that would enable the production of standardised CTAs that can be compared across services where the distribution of equipment renders this desirable and which can be related to the output of a previously conducted HTA - thus ensuring that all items therein identified have been addressed.  This should have an effect on both economies of scale and improving the final quality of training (effectively performing a verification on the HTA).

The production of a tool that is capable of integration with other similar tools to deliver a meta-tool set, with beneficial effects on both training and equipment functionality.
