Collective Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
Training Needs Analysis for Team and Collective Training This report details a methodology for the conduct of Training Needs Analysis for team and collective training, developed in response to a requirement identified by the RN for guidance to support the conduct of collective TNAs for the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers. A Team and Collective Training Model is developed which provides a characterisation of the types of data that need to be captured and analysed for team and collective TNA. A review of existing analysis methods demonstrates that there is no extant method which caters for all aspects analysis required for team and collective TNA. The first stages of the Team and Collective TNA method are then detailed. Templates and worked examples are provided for each of the techniques recommended at each stage.
